The AX-DSP presents an all-in-one solution for a variety of car audio system setups, from fixed level output (digital) to analog OE systems, and even adding a subwoofer to an OE system. Our before the amp solution is designed to allow the installers the option to remove the factory amplifier or to add a subwoofer all while maintaining the OE features and controls of the radio. Whether you have a Digital or Analog factory amplifier system, the AX-DSP has you covered.
Unlike other digital signal processors on the market, the AX-DSP includes a built-in Axxess Interface. More reasons installers will love the new Axxess DSP is for its quick and simple installation behind the factory radio, due to its small footprint. Features and settings are easily controlled via Bluetooth from our free Smartphone application, which is available for both iOS and Android. To further cut down on install time, Axxess has engineered vehicle specific T-Harnesses (sold separately), that make installation even faster and easier, with no need to cut any wires. Using a T-Harness can cut down installation time from 1 hour to just 5 minutes.

The AX-DSP Works in a Variety of
Car Audio Systems:
Every customer has different needs and budgets. The flexibility of the Axxess Digital Signal Processor allows the installer to customize a solution based on what the customer is wanting to replace or keep in their system. Unlike traditional DSPs on the market, this allows the installer to present a better, more cost effective solution to their customer.
OE Radio with Analog
This option will allow the installer to tap directly to the output of the factory radio and feed signal into the DSP.
Adding a Subwoofer to OE System
This feature offers the installer the ability to add a subwoofer to an OE system. Whether your OE amp is digital or analog the AX-DSP will output a usable signal to feed your aftermarket amplifier while maintaining your OE system.
Aftermarket Radio System
The AX-DSP can be used in the aftermarket environment to improve the overall listening experience for car audio enthusiasts. Installers will plug the RCA inputs of the AX-DSP into the output of the aftermarket radio.
OE Radio without factory amp
This option will allow the installer to tap directly into the output of the factory radio for signal and feed it through the DSP to the aftermarket amplifiers. In many cases the CAN Bus wires need to be connected in order for the DSP to communicate with the vehicle to turn on and give your installer a 12 volt 2 amp remote turn on output.
OE Radio with Digital Amp
Digital systems work differently from Analog. They have a fixed level output that is controlled through the vehicle’s CAN Bus. Most of the time the programing content (audio) is provided through two channels, this can be front or rear. The other channels are for content like Phone/Bluetooth, SMS reader, Sync, or OnStar.
